It’s our busiest time of year—please help!
Your donation will help save lives. | | | Dear aze, | When Lunch Box, a sweet 1-year-old Seal Point cat, arrived at Seattle Humane, it was clear he was in pain. Lunch Box was found hiding outside with a broken right femur—most likely from being hit by a car. | Lunch Box was miserable—he needed help. | Our team immediately started Lunch Box on medication to ease his pain and partnered with a specialist to repair his broken femur before sending him to a foster home to rest and recover. His doting foster family continued to administer his medication, changed his dressings weekly and even provided physical therapy three times per day so his leg retains range of motion! | Lunch Box was adopted last month by a loving family and is continuing to make paw-some progress. | | This is what our mission is all about—giving second chances to pets who need us and connecting them with a loving home. It is costly to help with cases like this and without the invaluable support from animal advocates like you, Lunch Box’s fate would have been uncertain. | As the days get warmer, we will encounter hundreds of pets just like Lunch Box who need care—and we rely on your generosity to help as many of them as possible. Your gift today will provide lifesaving support for the pets who need us most. | Please make your lifesaving gift now. Thank you in advance for helping Seattle Humane give pets in need a chance this summer. | Gratefully, | | Chase Huffman, Ed.D Development Director | | | |
