Before August slips away... 🐾

There's still time to protect your pack and the animals you love

Give Monthly Dear aze, Recently, we shared the heartwarming story of Scout. This playful pup has brought so much joy and healing to his adopter, Tonya.   "He gives the best hugs, makes us laugh every day, and brings so much joy into our lives. He’s helped me stay moving and motivates me daily — he truly is the best medicine anyone could ask for."  Stories like theirs are a daily reminder of why the human-animal bond is so special, and why we are so grateful to have you in our Rescue Squad. 💛  Before August ends, we want to remind you that National Make-A-Will Month is the perfect time to bring lasting love and security to your pack, including your furry family members and the people you love.  Through our partnership with FreeWill, you can create or update your will online, completely free. You can choose trusted guardians for your pets, secure your belongings and make your wishes known. Best of all, it only takes about 20 minutes!

49 Pets Transported From the WA Wildfires

Seattle Humane has transported 49 pets to safety. Your gift helps provide the care they need.

Dear aze, Meet Frankie Boy & Marble Mae. They were among the 49 pets transferred to Seattle Humane yesterday from the wildfires in Eastern Washington. As countless people and pets have been displaced, Seattle Humane has delivered critical supplies to our partners in Spokane and transported pets to our shelter. These efforts freed up much-needed space and resources for Spokane-area shelters to care for animals directly affected by the wildfires.  Caring for these transferred pets requires specialized veterinary and foster care, nutritious food, safe shelter and dedicated staff every day. As our community comes together to support this emergency response, we’re asking for your help.

Your will can help more families find the same joy and connection

Give Monthly Dear aze, When Scout (formerly known as Wishbone) was matched with his new family at Seattle Humane, we knew his sweet, playful spirit would change lives.   Recently, his adopter, Tonya, reached out to share just how much joy this happy pup has brought to their household:
