Seattle Humane is once again participating in the Clear the Shelters campaign, where we join animal shelters across the country with the goal of finding loving families for as many pets as possible. Of course, the shelter will never truly be empty, because we are constantly pulling at-risk pets from overcrowded shelters here in Washington and across the country.
Now is a great time to find your new furry family member or make a donation in support of pets and the people who love them.
We hope to give the Clear the Shelters campaign a major boost with a one-day adoption event from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 26, where adoption fees for dogs and cats six months and older and all critters will be 50% off! Our friends at Hill's, Seattle Humane and Clear the Shelters sponsor, will be at the event handing out goodies.
Nala receives high marks from her foster mom as a dutiful office assistant, backyard stuffie fetcher and squirrel enforcer (oh, how they mock her) and knows all the classic training cues, including sit, shake, come, down and (very important) drop it. This smart lady is ready to find her new home!
