Our work isn't over yet! More support is urgently needed for LA fires transfer pets.
| | | Dear aze, First, I want to take a moment to acknowledge everyone who supported our recent Palisades pet transfer, whether through donating, fostering, or adopting. Thanks to your incredible generosity, almost all of those transfer pets have found a loving new home! We truly couldn’t have done it without loyal supporters like you. However, our work isn’t over. There are still many roaming displaced pets from the LA fires, and local shelters are continuing to try and make room for them, with the goal of reuniting lost pets with their families. To help, we’ve stepped up again to bring another 32 dogs and 12 cats who were already in the LA shelter system to Seattle Humane. Sunday afternoon, a second Wings of Rescue flight arrived at Boeing Field. Seattle Humane will provide these pets with medical care, food and shelter until they are able to find loving homes. With such a large group coming in, this effort requires significant resources, and we’re turning to our supporters once again for help.
