Content warning: animal cruelty
| | Dear aze, You may have seen in the news that Jefferson County authorities are investigating another animal cruelty and hoarding case involving more than 100 cats in the rural area of Brinnon. Many of the cats have medical issues that need urgent treatment, including young kittens who are especially vulnerable to disease and parasites. Seattle Humane is stepping in to support our rescue partners who initially took in the cats and kittens. This week we will be taking in more than 20 adult cats and more than a dozen kittens. Every one of them will receive the food, shelter and expert medical care they deserve thanks to supporters like you. Seattle Humane leans on our extraordinary community to save and serve our community’s most vulnerable pets—and we are hoping we can come together to help the voiceless victims of the Jefferson County animal hoarding investigation in our care. Please make an urgent gift now to help cover the specialized medical care many of these cats will need over the coming weeks. A gift of any amount will go so far in their care and recovery! |

Gratefully, Chase Huffman, Ed.D Development Director |
