A neighbor was dropping off pet supply donations at Seattle Humane one night when they encountered someone leaving a small kitten outside our building. They took the sweet kitty home, gave her a reindeer toy and named her Kris. The next day, the neighbor brought Kris back to Seattle Humane, where she received the medical care she needed and a doting foster parent to help her grow big and strong. A month later, Kris was adopted and is thriving in her new, loving home. Stories like this happen year-round here at the shelter and their happy endings wouldn't be possible without the support of our generous community.
