From injured and alone to a happy home.

Charlie was found alone on the Ira Spring Trail.

aze, we have so many pets like Charlie waiting in our shelter this time of year.

Charlie was found alone on the Ira Spring Trail in North Bend, Washington with painful wounds around his neck. A concerned citizen brought Charlie to Seattle Humane for veterinary care and to find his owner.

Attempts to reach the person connected to his microchip number were unsuccessful and, after waiting more than a week for a response, we made this young Saint Bernard available for adoption. While at the shelter, Charlie was not very fond of going on walks and would frequently quit them in favor of lying on the ground.

After three weeks of interacting with volunteers and shelter staff, where he learned to trust and socialize with caring encouragement, Charlie found his perfect family!

Right now, you can help more pets like Charlie by making a donation during our Spring Matching Gift Challenge. Thanks to a generous dog-loving couple in Redmond, your gift will double in value until March 31.

With your gift to Seattle Humane this spring, more pets will receive the care they deserve and know what it's like to be loved.

Thank you for helping us care for our community and its pets.

Gratefully,

Christopher Ross
