A golden opportunity to say "thank you for being a friend!"

We each have a different way of expressing love at our campus, whether it’s a nose boop, purr or high five. But Seattle Humane staff and shelter pets alike are all saying the same thing: thank you for being a friend!    We dedicate today, January 17, in honor of animal lovers everywhere, as Thank You for Being a Friend Day.    Today we celebrate friends with big hearts for animals. Friends who care for our pets when we go out of town. Friends who adopt, not shop.
