Supporting pets and their people never goes out of style! Help us rack up some pet food donations during our birthday week and you’ll be entered to win a $500 gift card to Nordstrom. All you have to do is bring a donation for our Pet Food Bank to either our Happy (Birthday) Hour at Optimism Brewing on Thursday, Sept. 15 or during our Birthday Party open house here at the shelter on Saturday, Sept. 17. Anyone who brings a donation for our Pet Food Bank will automatically be entered to win! You can be fashionably late, but don’t forget to RSVP for all the furry fun we have planned.

Come on over to Optimism Brewing Company on Thursday, September 15 to raise a glass to Seattle Humane's 125th birthday! This is a laid-back and dog-friendly venue, so bring the whole furmily. Seattle Humane is Optimism's September charity of the month, so every pint purchased gives $1 back to Seattle Humane!

Join our Rescue Squad during this virtual Day of Giving, celebrating pets helped by lifesaving transfers, expert veterinary care, expanded community services, loving adopters and you! This important fundraiser powers the work we do at the shelter throughout the year and we need you to reach our goal!

Help us celebrate our 125th birthday! Activities will include behind-the-scenes tours of the shelter, demos from the behavior team, a kitten cuddle booth, crafts for children and adults, and much more!
