We absolutely LOVE Lilo, who is now Ginger. Ginger loves her new home. She loves exploring the backyard and going on walks with her new furry buddies, Pushka (Pomeranian) and Jake (Black Lab). Ginger also loves playing with her toys with our two boys. Every afternoon this week, Ginger and Pushka hung around the bus stop and greeted all of the elementary kids when they got off the school bus. The kids love Ginger and she loves them! Seriously, who wouldn't love a dog with a heart on her backside? Thank you again for everything! Danielle The whole family is in love with Logan
Dear Sarah & Seattle Humane staff and volunteers, We don't even have words to express how thankful and blessed we are for Logan. Our family finally feels complete. Rich and I are convinced that both our families love our dog more than us. My brother and dog enthusiast, Scott, visited me twice in one week because he is so fond of Logan and wanted to gift him with a special bed, which Logan loves. Rich's parents have decided that we'll be holding Christmas this year because they like Logan better than his misbehaved cousins, Charlie, a 126-lb Pit Bull and Peanut, a 100-lb Golden Retriever. My mother came to town to visit from Montana and ended up crying before she left, not because she was sad to leave me but heartbroken to leave her new "Grand-Dog." I have been asked to send daily pictures to my mother, father, and Rich's father. Logan is "spoiled rotten" and lucky to have us for his parents according to everyone who meets them. The UPS driver has taken pictures of him for the UPS Dog Facebook page and the postal carrier enjoys seeing him. Even Sterling, our snowshow cat, is always found by his side. I never thought in a million years that a cat and dog would love each other so much but it's undeniable. Forever grateful, Rich Voyta, Jessica Hansen and Sterling Cat Home for the Holidays
Hi Sarah, Bodhi, now known as Copper, is doing so well with our family. Our German Shepherd loves her little brother, and so does our cat who we adopted from NOAH last year. I'm attaching our Christmas photo, feel free to share. Thank you again for allowing us to give him a home for Christmas. ~Jason
A whirlwind of adventure and love
Scout had quite the whirlwind entry to the family. After adopting him he had a couple of days at our condo in Issaquah to get used to his big sister, Izzy. Then we were in the car to go visit his new grandparents on the Olympic Peninsula. We had booked a trip to Cannon Beach before adopting Scout, so he got to spend a few days with those Grandparents who continued to spoil him while we were away. After that it was back to Issaquah and a start to the "normal" routine for our family. Scout's personality seems to come through more and more and he gets more familiar with his new surroundings and more comfortable as part of his new pack. Big sister has gotten used to him now and they’re doing so well together. Scout has been a great addition to the family and we look forward to this summer when the weather is better and the four of us can start adventuring together. Thanks so very much for all the work you do for these animals that need some help! Cheers! The O'Neils |
