Wear Your Whiskers and raise money for Battersea’s dogs and cats
Friday 27 October will be a day like no other as the nation gets fur-bulous.
Gather a group, paint or stick on some whiskers for the day and donate £2 to take part (or £1 if at a school) to help the dogs and cats in our care.
Whether you do it with friends, colleagues, classmates or family – you can Wear Your Whiskers anywhere!
Sign up now for your free fundraising pack, full of ideas on creating the purr-fect Wear Your Whiskers experience.
However you choose to Wear Your Whiskers you’ll be helping dogs and cats who have nowhere else to turn. Whether you raise £10 or £1,000, every penny will help provide them with the vital medical care, attention and love they need.

An amazing week for animals
 A huge milestone Last week proved to be an amazing week for animals and Battersea’s campaign for tougher cruelty sentences.
Battersea stands ready to support this move to five year sentences in every way possible. There is still work to do to see new laws passed in England, Scotland and also Wales.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign. If you would like to stand up against animal cruelty, it’s not too late to email your MP. There is still work to do, and we need to keep the momentum going to see this change become law.  The loneliest dogs New statistics show black Greyhounds are the loneliest dogs at Battersea’s Old Windsor centre. Could you give dogs like Serena and Eddie their retirement homes?  Wear Your Whiskers On Friday 27 October, gather a group, paint or stick on some whiskers and donate £2 to take part (or £1 if at a school) to help the dogs and cats in our care.
