During Daysi’s exam, Seattle Humane veterinarian Dr. Friedman noticed that her eye was red and swollen. | | Concerned about the number of eye conditions Lhasa apsos are susceptible to, Dr. Friedman recommended Daysi visit a full-service veterinary clinic for a complete eye exam. | | A few days later, Daysi's guardian reached out for assistance with a veterinary visit. We were able to offer funds to cover an exam at a clinic close to their home, where Cecilia received the fortunate news that Daysi's symptoms were only caused by an allergy! | | When Cecilia called Seattle Humane to share the update, we helped her make an appointment at our Schuler Family Medical Center for Daysi to be spayed—a surgery that is critical to reducing unwanted litters and preventing life-threatening illnesses. | | Ultimately, by breaking down geographical and financial barriers to these services, we’re helping keep people and their beloved companions together. | | Strong support from friends like you ensures that we can continue providing top-quality care to pets in need and provide much needed funds to families needing assistance. | | Will you show your support for keeping community pets happy and healthy with a gift today?
