Support from friends like you has helped so many pets this year. Like Michael’s pup, Zoey, who was in need of surgery for a life-threatening condition. Michael had recently suffered a traumatic brain injury and was out of work when he found that Zoey needed surgery for an infected uterus, which can be very costly at a private practice.

Even though Michael would do anything to help Zoey, he simply could not afford to pay for the expensive surgery. Thankfully, he turned to Seattle Humane’s Schuler Family Medical Center—and kindhearted friends—to find the affordable veterinary care that Zoey desperately needed. Michael was able to contribute half the surgery cost and Seattle Humane subsidized the remainder, saving Zoey’s life.
