Mama Rosie gave birth to 10 puppies during a scorching week-long heatwave in late July. When the landlord told Rosie’s family the pups could not stay in their apartment, they reluctantly moved them into a storage unit. As temperatures soared outside, they reached out to Seattle Humane for help.
 
Within hours of their arrival at the shelter, Rosie and her pups were given a wellness exam and placed in foster care. Once they were ready for adoption, all 10 pups quickly found new families and Mama Rosie made her way home in October.
