Your Giving Tuesday Gift Can Be Doubled!

Updates from Seattle Humane.

Tomorrow, December 3 is Giving Tuesday! You can amplify your gift for the animals in our care thanks to matching gifts from Seattle Humane supporters like you.

When you make a gift this Giving Tuesday for the animals at Seattle Humane, you're helping pets like Mia.

Surrendered into our care when she was just two days old, Mia spent six weeks with a loving foster parent prior to returning to the shelter and meeting her future family. In honor of her now six-year-old pup, Mia's mom is paying tribute to her furry best friend with a matching gift this Giving Tuesday! This generous gift will help more pets like Mia receive the care they need and help complete more families in 2020.

Throughout the day tomorrow, we will announce MORE GIVING TUESDAY MATCHING GIFTS like Mia's that will give you the opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT and help give essential care, expert veterinary services, and training for the animals at Seattle Humane. Follow us on social media to see these stories and your chance to win a pair of tickets for the December 22 Seahawks game in Seattle!

Mia has a wonderful life thanks to your support.

We need your continued support to save more lives. From transferring shelter pets who live in regions affected by natural disasters to providing a safety net for pet owners in our own community, we depend on animal lovers like you.

Please give generously.

Your Giving Tuesday gift goes even further with nearly $40,000 in matching gifts!

We're grateful for partners like you!

Update from Seattle Humane.

tg-header-19

As you celebrate today with friends and family, know that your generosity has given a second chance to pets in need. Thanks to you, these once-homeless pets and thousands more, will fall asleep with full bellies, warm beds, and a family who loves them.

Beck

Beck, a senior Basset Hound mix, was transferred to Seattle Humane for life-saving medical care. Our veterinarian removed a tumor from Beck's ear, and he recovered in the care of a volunteer foster family. While keeping him comfortable, the foster family also helped to build Beck’s confidence in new people with happy talk, treats, and playtime. After 10 months of TLC, Beck was adopted!

Oliver

Thanks to the Life-Saver Rescue Program, we're able to transfer in pets like Oliver from crowded shelters where they might be overlooked by potential adopters. Oliver, a 6-year-old charmer, was transferred to Seattle Humane from a shelter in California and adopted within days of his arrival.

Penny and Wendy

Bonded guinea pigs, Penny and Wendy, were surrendered to the shelter when their family could no longer care for them. In our care, these sweet girls received lots of forehead pets, fresh greens, and interactive toys that brought out their playful personalities. Their adorable squeals caught the attention of a special someone, and Penny and Wendy now enjoy being the center of attention in their new home.

2019 Holiday Drive To Save Lives. Give hope to homeless and abused animals this season. Help Now
No animal deserves to suffer, especially during the holidays. But cats and dogs in our community are waiting for a loving family and a safe home.

We need friends like you who believe they can make a difference for animals in need like Ernie.

Transferred through our Life-Saver Rescue Program, when Ernie arrived at Seattle Humane, our veterinary team noticed cuts and wounds on his sweet little face.

Our medical staff worked hard to diagnose and treat Ernie’s condition, which was determined to be an unusual skin disorder. When he fully recovered, Ernie was adopted by a wonderful new family and this year, he will be spending the holidays healthy, surrounded by joy and love.

Give to the 2019 Holiday Drive to Save Lives to help more animals like Ernie. Your gift can provide a chance for homeless and sick animals to find loving families this holiday season.

Please give generously today.

For the animals,
